NASA announces June 2015 equal hottest June on record

NASA reports that June 2015 has tied with 1998 to be the warmest june month on record.

It appears all but certain that 2015 could become the hottest year on record, probably by a wide margin — as what increasingly appears to be one of the strongest El Niños in 50 years boosts the underlying global warming trend.
